Duna Verde lies at the Adriatic coast between the cities Eraclea Mare and Caorle.

Duna Verde is named after a dense natural pine forest and many sand dunes which are typical for the natural Adriatic coast.

In the spring and in the summer, Duna Verde welcomes tourists from all over Europe.

The place developed in the 60ies and 70ies as tourist resort which today harmonically fits in the lush nature of the surroundings. Dunes and pine forest are protected and are continuously controlled by the regional forestry authorities. This way the characteristics of the coastal corridor are preserved, which developed in the course of the centuries as barrier between the waves of the sea and the land.

Sea, nature, sports, and a wide range of services with numerous stores, restaurants, bars, and a weekly market complete the offered services.

In the summer, Duna Verde is - through a city bus service - well connected to the nearby Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle.
